Damn cobwebs…

It’s an endless battle having a shop in the rural country settings. Along with the piece and quiet you get the critters wildlife and insects. More specifically spiders and their damn spiderwebs and cobwebs.

Took a photo of this cobwebs before taking the dust mop to it.

Chillin’ at the Hampton Inn…

There are three other cars out in the parking lot besides mine. This hotel is a ghost town due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

I haven’t seen any other guest in the entire hotel. Now that’s freakin’ crazy.

One thing for certain, the county face mask requirements are in place and you definitely see the residence adhering to the health order. This is the first time I experienced an area that actually cares about being compliant. Then again the Bay Area was the first counties to go in effect.

No Manetarium time…

I went down to check on the Manetarium and it’s just too fooking hot! I’ve been kicking around the idea of a swamp cooler and checked out my friend who’s running a system at his home. It definitely drops the temperature but I’m wondering what size unit it’s going to require.

Buena Vista Burgers!

This is our latest craze. Grubbing down on Buena Vista Saloon and Market hamburgers and French fries. Yummy!

I’m not certain if the hamburger meat is grass fed animals but the taste is definitely different and less greasy. They serve regular fries (the vintage type with the ridges) and garlic fries. Both are hell of good.

I heard another customer say “thanks Rebecca”. I guess the cook just earned the name Becca’ of Buena Vista!

Pie time…

My second day off for the Memorial Day weekend. I took a morning cruise Clements Ridge to go nab one of their killer pies. I originally went over for strawberry but the chocolate got my attention. It’s the 3rd time I’ve been there since COVID-19 pandemic affected the local businesses. The first time I went the establishment was completely closed. The past couple times they have setup a system based on the states mandated guidelines.

Brought two pink boxes home.

The wait is not long at all if your there for the pies. if you’re wanting a deli sandwich it’s going to take some time.

Geico…

I reached down for my golf cart battery charger (aka Ghetto Bus) and this fat lizard was sitting on top of it. I see lizards running around the Manetarium all the time. They normally just stay very still and watch you.

Since this fatso was preventing me from using my equipment I knocked him off the charger with a broom, the chase was on. I opened the large shop bay door in anticipation of chasing Geico out that direction.

It took a while but I finally was able to get the little sucker out the door running up the driveway. I normally wouldn’t care but this one looked fat enough to be pregnant and I didn’t want a shit load of baby lizards running around the Manetarium.

Time for Geico to leave.
