This is the ONLY news that matters at this point. I’ve been working from home and partially at work for about three weeks.

I just watched President Trump estimate that at least 100,000 people will die in the next 2 to 4 weeks. This number can reach 240,000 and this is with mitigation in place.
We are going through uncharted territory for all of mankind. Sounds pretty fucking dramatic doesn’t it? It is.
The “stay at home” or “shelter in place” orders have been given by our Governor. Since then, other states have followed.
Nobody has ever seen the effects of this pandemic or any experience how to handle it. Large city streets are turning into ghost towns roadways. Dining in is a thing of the past along with non-essential shopping malls. The list of closed brick and motor business is endless.
This is a crazy time due to a pandemic called the Coronavirus. It has affected thousands and thousands of people and killed as many. It has put a standstill on economy.
We’ll see what the next few months bring.
Since the daylight savings time adjustment was last weekend I’m now able to enjoy the sunset in the evenings. I would typically get home when the sun had gone below the mountain tops.
Check out my 1966 Custom C10! That’s right, back into Chevrolet’s. I’ve had a few trucks in the past and always dogged them. This is the oldest of them all and it’s a well done build.
I plan on enjoying the car season with this classic and not perform any major work that will take it out of riding it around.
I’ve been super busy and not really much to blog about lately. I may be swapping for a new classic this weekend. That’s about it.
Another year has gone by and this is the dawn of a new decade. Ironically that’s what my high school slogan was 40 years ago.
Shit times really does fly.
EDIT: Twelve midnight has come and gone. This is our second year being at Valley Springs during the New Years celebration. Last year I can’t recall very much celebration with firecrackers, fireworks or firearms.
This year it was an all out “Stockton, CA” simulation. I think I heard as much here at VS as I’ve had living in Stockton. I think the difference is Stockton will continue shooting guns until there is daylight. Not so much here, maybe 10 minutes worth of noisy celebrations.
I’ve been working on the Manetarium for the past few weeks getting the photography studio part of it ready for photo sessions. I did a couple family portraitures during the Christmas holidays but will now focus on clients.
This year I decided to make custom X-Mas gifts for kids. I probably have 300 or extra license plates that I can’t use for my wall collection since I have the states already displayed.
I’ve seen license plates that have been cut into separate characters or numbers to create a word, name or something catchy.
