I participated in a vintage car Parade for elders at retirement home located in North Stockton. Had a good time giving back to the elders.

Picked up Taco Bell and saw this on the way home. So what did I see? On a clear sunny day I should be looking at a blue sky. All we see now is smokey haze.

I was cleaning around the Manetarium and moved aside a couple shelving planks. This guy was scurried towards the rear.
I know enough about Tarantulas that they do bite and are venomous but not enough to kill a human. I thought about letting it go but the thought of that sucker crawling across my face while taking a nap on my recliner issued the death sentence. The frosted look is spider poison that I keep around. This isn’t my first rodeo.
I ended up sweeping the spider out into the creek. Dude wouldn’t fall from the wall.

This is definitely fire season in full swing. There are so many active fires going on here in California. The smoke and ashes are a daily occurrence it’s just freakin’ not good to be outdoors.
On my way to work I see the orange glow of the sunrise enhanced by the smoke. Horrible times.

The weather lately has been screaming hot. So damn hot you can fry an egg on the ground.

This horrible shit is getting worse. If our small town can’t contain the virus and stop or slow down the spread, it almost seems impossible for the larger cities to have any signs of improvement.

This is a screen shot of the freakin’ hot ass weather we are going to be experiencing next week. This weather is no joke. I’m seriously going to try and fry an egg on my shop driveway metal cross over plates this weekend.

Wifey and tried photographing the meteor showers but there was too much ambient light coming over the hill top across the ways. It was the city of Lodi and possibly Stockton.
To capture something for the night I started messing with a light pen and long exposures. This is what I ended up with, me running up and down the path, in and out of the gazebo.

It seems odd that o haven’t really wrote anything regarding the ongoing worldwide pandemic.
I thought I’d add a graphic now and then to get a reference point locally here at Valley Springs.
