It’s heck of hot inside the Manetarium.

It’s heck of hot inside the Manetarium.
Heading down the path to the Manetarium I stopped and took a photograph of the view. Pretty dang cool.
My second day off for the Memorial Day weekend. I took a morning cruise Clements Ridge to go nab one of their killer pies. I originally went over for strawberry but the chocolate got my attention. It’s the 3rd time I’ve been there since COVID-19 pandemic affected the local businesses. The first time I went the establishment was completely closed. The past couple times they have setup a system based on the states mandated guidelines.
Brought two pink boxes home.
I reached down for my golf cart battery charger (aka Ghetto Bus) and this fat lizard was sitting on top of it. I see lizards running around the Manetarium all the time. They normally just stay very still and watch you.
Since this fatso was preventing me from using my equipment I knocked him off the charger with a broom, the chase was on. I opened the large shop bay door in anticipation of chasing Geico out that direction.
It took a while but I finally was able to get the little sucker out the door running up the driveway. I normally wouldn’t care but this one looked fat enough to be pregnant and I didn’t want a shit load of baby lizards running around the Manetarium.
Time for Geico to leave.
I rode the Goldwing into work this morning. I hit heavy rains at the mountains and all across the Ione, Michigan Bar Road. This was after spending a couple hours Sunday washing and cleaning. Ain’t that a bitch! Lol!!
On my way home I stopped by Buena Vista Market also known to us as BV’s. This is the same joint that has the monster size burritos. Since this was a dinner pickup I opted for bacon cheese burgers. There’s a lot to be said about the ground beef around here. It just taste better. I buy meat at the Ione butcher shop and all their meat is local and grass fed. Like I said, it just taste better.
You can see from this photograph that the rain clouds are gone. This mornings dump may have been the last. Summer time is here.
Wifey sent a photo of the hail action going on today. She said it was thunder and lightning show. I missed all the action.
I went for a nice drive yesterday and this is the weather in front of the Manetarium. It was dumping hard! I think the forecast is a few more days like this and then it will be sunny for the Memorial Day weekend coming up.
Wifey and I went out for a ride this morning. I’ve been wanting to check out this small country market located on Buena Vista Road Ione California. It’s a small establishment that has a saloon next door that would normally be packed with folks enjoying the surround lakes. I think most of the folks would be coming from Pardee Lake or Lake Amador which is just down the road.
The burritos were good and we ended up eating next to Brute 66′ since the indoor dining area was closed off due to the Corona Virus regulations.
It’s been awhile since I’ve updated the stats. This is a global stat as of today.
The current governor of California had a press conference today in regards to the plan opening up the state. As expected it will be a slow process with some businesses opening up sooner than others. This also means some businesses will be pissed of more than others.
One note the lakes that are surrounding our area will be opening up only to the local residence.
As for us, I’ve been back working my normal schedule and location the last couple of weeks. No more telecommuting. It was nice while it lasted.
The school districts are still closed and teaching via online methods. This means wifey is not teaching at her classroom. It is still uncertain when the state will open the schools again.
I picked up a replacement water pump for Beater. I’ll be removing some of the parts tonight and draining the coolant. At least that’s the plan.
