2006 Toyota Camry…

I’ve spent the last few evenings troubleshooting the battery draining issues on my 2006 Camry. I discovered that cylinder # 1 fuel injector was causing a high current draw. When the battery is connected the current would spike close to 4A.

When the fuel injector is disconnected from the harness control signal the current drops down dramatically.

I’ll do more testing tomorrow night using a common test light or a noid test light (which I don’t currently own).

Seriously?

I’ve been on a intermittent fasting eating schedule and a somewhat modified Keto diet. My diet is an aggressive approach to lose weight and keep it off.

Today’s delicious meal consist of these two items. LOL!!

New flip project…

It’s been awhile since I picked up a car with the intentions of flipping for something of greater value. I’ve worked on many different cars, trucks and motorcycles these past years with the sole intent of getting more value for each trade.

This is my latest project a 2006 Toyota Camry that has been sitting idle for a couple of years with some minor mechanical issues.

The paint is in very good condition but does have a ding on the front right side passenger fender. The interior is in great shape, not much attention will be needed.

Gorgeous sunset… again

It seems the best sunsets viewed from our deck are the ones immediately after the rain. Especially a good strong storm.

This photo was taken near the center of the deck. Crazy cool looking sunset, brilliant colors and nice cloud formations.

The photo below is taken from the top of the long driveway down into the shop below. You can see where I park our truck “Beater” next to my shop under the tree.

Awesome Pie Spot!

Checked out a new to us pie and deli joint. What a gem of a place! Not only can you order a deli sandwich freshly made you can have a slice of pie afterwards. To make it even a better, you can add vanilla ice cream on top of your pie!

This Clements Ridge is located on the corner of highway 88 and highway 12. It’s a perfect pit stop if your riding the motorcycle around and want a bite to eat.

I can imagine during the weekend the small counter area will get fairly packed with customers. Outside of this area is a large area that carries other items for sell. One of the highlight items is the frozen pies that you can take home and cook at your convenience.

Sunday BBQ…

We went to our neighborhood BBQ! It was a nice day and a super easy trip, just down the hill. Our backyard join together with no fencing, first time I’ve ever been in home like that. The actual go,es are so far apart it doesn’t matter. This was the first time I have ever seen our home from this vantage point.

You can see the rear section of our home and shop. The property line is where the retaining wall is.

Check out our neighbors triple BBQ setup!

The turkey gang!

Almost every morning we have a gang of turkeys cruise in from the backyard to the front yard taking their time eating things on the ground along the way and shitting at the same time.

I’ve learned to look for a turkey’s black glue like silicon shit wherever I walk. If you step on a mound and walk the backyard your shoe will be caked with leaves forming a camouflage boot.

These guys don’t care where they go and will block roadways, paths, driveways etc.

Why did the turkey cross the road?

If you never seen a turkey do a fly by and one comes from behind you, let’s just say it will startle the crap out of you. They are super big and can’t turn in mid-air very well. They need amount of space to make a landing.

damn weeds!

I don’t have a whole lot of experience with fighting off weeds. All the places I’ve lived at before it was fairly simple to maintain the weeds growing in the small patch of land I lived on. d

Now that we live out in the country the weed maintenance is no freakin’ joke! I bought a weed trimmer, the most potent concentrate of Round Up available. Between the two of these weed killers I should be able to control most of the growth. We’ll see.

One thing for sure, I’ll need to get a larger capacity backpack style tank for the round up mixture. The two gallon handheld is not enough.
