I’ve been into photography since I was a kid so that put me back in the film days. When I switched over to digital it was during the time consumer digital cameras were being offered. I picked up my first digital camera back in 1996. It was the latest and greatest for that time era, a Ricoh RDC-2 with a flip out monitor!
Nowadays, I use Canon and Fuji gear. I can’t recollect all the different digital cameras I’ve had the past couple decades. Below are my current gear a Canon 5DMK3, Fuji X100F & X100S. The X100S is more of backup camera to use in a pinch. The camera I use the most is the X100F, that little sucker has a shit load of features. A really big mega shit load of features.
I decided to separate the VW bus events into it’s own blog. Since we have two 1967 VW Buses it’s easier to keep it separate on another website location. This blog will continue for personal shit as I go along. Mostly for family to check on.
My son had his car towed over and we worked on it together. He replaced the starter motor which had gone bad. His first major car repair, get down son!
For some reason whenever I do any downshifting I get the dreaded grinding noise. Unless I do a double clutch the grinding will occur almost every time.
Getting ready to start off another year of tinkering and restorations. My goal is to keep the cars long enough to enjoy them longer. In the past three years I’ve had 14 different cars and motorcycles. That’s a lot of repairs on issues people did not want to spend the money on repairing.
I’ve been working on the man cave for some time now. I’ve always like the look of a clean functional garage that was fun to work in, have all the necessary tools and a good entertainment setup. The garage is a decent size area but I have have too many toys in it so it looks really cluttered.
I finally made arrangements to get rid of the Direct TV services and switch over to Xfinity. I used to have their service many years ago but unsubscribed when they kept increasing the monthly cost. I now have both internet and television services from the same provider.
