Well.. my mechanic pulled out the clutch after evaluating the car and found that both the clutch and flywheel were toast. I’ll have them replaced along with other parts found to be bad.
This sucks big time!

Lumpia bargain..
Every so often my wifey buys lumpia at her school, $20 for 70 pieces! This is the Shanghai style so they are not the larger rolls we are accustomed to but if you eat enough of these suckers it’s all good!
Multi-rotor night shot…
I took this photograph using my GoPro 4 Silver attached to my multi-rotor. I used the time lapsed mode at 0.5 second interval. The composition was all guessing since I don’t have FPV capabilities. If you look closely you can see at the entrance area of the cul’ de sac below.
Porsche 986 Boxster towed!
Well, my Porsche 986 Boxster croaked on my way home on the freeway. I lost complete power and the car was smoking from the side vents. I had to call roadside service to have it towed home. After a couple of weeks it was time to have it checked out. The photo below is Beater Boxster being towed away from home.
Multi-rotor operation – adding gimbal…
I’m installing the Zenuse H3-3D gimbal for my GoPro 4 Silver. Part of the installation required installing a PCB inside of the Phantom II, fairly painless process. As it turns out, the circuit board had already been installed and did not require the upgrade.
Drone flying…
I went out for some drone flying time at a local park. I had the whole area to myself when I first arrived but a half hour later a bunch of soccer moms and dads pulled up with their orange cones and started setting up downfield. I had to make sure I stayed away from the general area in case I lost control of the Phantom 2.
I added a the propeller guards until I maneuver the Phantom 2 with confidence. I figure it made economical sense purchasing the guards than replacing the props.
