This is the bistro view from the Southern side balcony at night. It overlooks the Manetarium, horse shoe pit and soon to be vegetable garden.

I picked up a few more plates this afternoon. The seller is a local metal artist that creates metal art using repurposed parts.
I didn’t have Rhode Island now I have both a car and motorcycle vehicle plates.

We had am early BBQ celebrating Father’s Day and our birthdays. What a nice day on the deck. Andrew and Baby Enzo in the house!

I finally got around to getting bird seed for the VW Bus bird feeders we got awhile ago. We temporarily just placed it on top of a cut off tree trunk. It looks some of the local birds found it.

Well I never though in my lifetime I’d be ordering 10 tons of anything. We are going to redo the planter boxes and level different areas of the property. After years of rain and wind the soil eventually eroded away. At some point the soil lost needs to be replaced.
I ordered 5 tons of Sandy Loam and 5 tons of compost mix. The filler dirt is a actually a mix of 50% sand, 43% silt and 7% of clay or less. This is is used primarily as filler dirt even though you can use it for grow soil.

We will moving all the dirt using wheel barrows!! I did 6 loads earlier and it’s not easy. Even going to down the hanging on can turn into a cartoon scene really quick.
