damn weeds!

I don’t have a whole lot of experience with fighting off weeds. All the places I’ve lived at before it was fairly simple to maintain the weeds growing in the small patch of land I lived on. d

Now that we live out in the country the weed maintenance is no freakin’ joke! I bought a weed trimmer, the most potent concentrate of Round Up available. Between the two of these weed killers I should be able to control most of the growth. We’ll see.

One thing for sure, I’ll need to get a larger capacity backpack style tank for the round up mixture. The two gallon handheld is not enough.

Pops Shop end table…

I decided to use the latest license plate score on my end table. The states that I didn’t have will go on the wall the older duplicate states got screwed on the side of the end table.

The table itself may be a bit tall but I still dig it.

Intermittent fasting…

Went to friend 50th birthday party. Plenty of Filipino food and sweets. I guess I’m marking this as a cheat day as I went almost 500 over my daily calorie allowance. That sucks, tomorrow we start it off again.

License plate score…

Went local garage sale shopping early this morning and scored on a couple plates I don’t have. The New York plate would probably would have been a hard one to find.

I’m about 29 plates into collecting all 50. I have a bunch of duplicate states, especially the western states.

Also got this low profile metal table I can use when working next to the bus. Both sides are expandable for additional surface area.

Cool looking rainbow…

I saw a cool ass rainbow on my way home from work today. First time I have ever seen one at both ends touching down. In this case on top of the water from my point of view. I drove up a lookout point to get this photo. I’ve been there many times before.

Hawks…

Either these guys are hawks or some really big ass birds. They’ve been coming around the back lately. They’re hanging out on our “whale” rock.

I’m not sure if they are the “chicken hawks” I’ve heard of around here. They are big, we are keeping an eye on our small dogs whenever they come around.
