I just wanted to say Happy New Years! I’ve been blogging for quite some time now and I think I’ve had maybe 10 hits total! bahahahahaha!

This is the last work day of 2009! Sending this from my office 3×4 cubicle with running water. Happy New Year everyone!

Whew! I have to say this time of the year is when I eat the most! On Christmas Eve we had a BBQ here at the house, Vincent did most of the cooking Andrew and I did the table setting 🙂

Christmas Day we headed over to Irene’s place and stuff up again! I think I’m going to be starting a diet on the first of the year (Lorraine keeps reminding me).

I’m back working and commuting again! Very light traffic since it’s the holiday season. I’ll be riding the cage this week then switch off to the scoot before the end of the year.

This morning I tried out the wireless ignition starter and it fired right up with no problems. A morning like this one would have definitely pissed me off before as I would be sitting there waiting every 10 minutes to get that car going. I’d say it’s fixed!

I got my Saturn Ion 2004 back from the car audio installation shop this afternoon and tried out the new 3rd party pass/fail remote starter system. So far everything worked as advertised. I haven’t been able to try it out yet in the morning when I’ve had the most problems but this evening it fired up remotely on the first try. I had a problem just yesterday when it would not start the evening after 3 tries, i gave up.

I will give it another test in the morning to see if the extremely cold weather affects this new system.

Ever since the weather change to cold and icy I have been having this problem with my car starting up in the morning. My car is an 2004 Saturn Ion and the problem is well documented on the internet with hundreds if not thousands pissed off owners. The problem occurred over a span of years and there is really no known fix. One suggestion is to use a remote ignition startup that bypasses the factory pass/fail system. I thought I’d give it a try with a local audio installation specialty shop I took the car in at the pre-arranged appointment and now have to leave it over night because they can’t get my car to start at all! What’s up with that!!! I’ll see how it all play out tomorrow supposedly they are going to have it running…

Well after taking off work for about 8 months I signed an offer this morning to start work again. I will be doing the same function as before with the same company 🙂 Life is timing I needed to have a couple of surgeries performed and I had both of them done successfully. This was a tough year but the upcoming year is going to be awesome!

I’m getting into studio photography specifically in portraiture. I took the photo below using a single flash strobe and a large white poster board below to add some fill light to the right and below Lorraine’s face.
