Valley Springs home visit…

We took a ride out to Valley Springs this afternoon to check out our new to us home. We had to make a few measurements for our piano and refrigerator space. This time I took along my Canon 5DMK3 for wider angle shots instead of the usual iPhone snapshots.

Our property has a lot of photo opportunities with the natural background and studio I will be incorporating into the man cave shop down the hill.

I’ll be using our gazebo for some cool shots once we are settled in.

Packing it up…

We are into the packing stage and moving stuff into temporary storage.

Our little fur ball “Serenity” is being her usual helpful self.

Stacking as high as I can reach.

Retirement Home…

It’s been a hectic last few days and Seller has accepted our offer! We will be moving after escrow closes! Valley Springs here we come!!

This will be our first and last home purchased together. We’ll make it our own and enjoy every minute of it.

The rear deck patio view is nuts. It faces the west so we will be able to enjoy the sunset while having dinner out on the back deck.

Home of future “Bus Station”. Look at the size of this shop! I’m going to fix it up into a bad ass man cave that also serves as a shop for buses.

We’ll probably have other non-VW classic cars on occasion since I still dig sport cars and old school muscle machines.

Old school synth…

I took a photo of my classic Yamaha TX816 full rack of synths and RANE matrix mixer to combine all the outputs. You don’t see too many of these classic hardware synthesizers around. It was based of the legendary DX-7. Okay, it just sounds good to say “legendary”.

Checking…

To see if this blog even still works! I had to migrate from a piece of shit service to a super great server company.

I guess in the end it all worked out because I was getting so frustrated with IX web hosting and Host Gator has so much more to offer, I just never looked around.

Fuji X100 lens converters…

Completed the Fuji X100F lens trilogy. The standard 35mm along with the 28mm wide converter and 50mm teleconverter. With this trio of focal length let’s see if I can go with out lugging around the 5DMK3 and all the freakin’ heavy L-glass.
